Little Beach Maui
Colorful, remote, fun & surprising, Little Beach Maui is a famous Hawaiian island, and not only because here clothing is optional … The area is very good for swimming though, with gorgeous sunsets.I took these pictures in May, last year. I decided to climb the little cliff and see what is hiding below :) The drummer was just arriving, ready for the drum circle (and kindly let me take a picture of him). A lot of nude tanning is going on here indeed, but again, everybody is respectful. If you are looking to sunbathe in Maui, this place can be a little bit intimidating. No matter what, Little Beach is one of the most beautiful, secluded and unique Hawaiian beach. You will actually be amazed on how nice and friendly people are here. Keeping your clothes on is not a problem, you won't be the only one :) Go once, and enjoy the drums and night fire dance! As I just mentioned above,one of the highlights is the fire dancing happening here, on Little Beach. Located just North of Big Beach (Makena Beach) in South Maui, the best way to get here is by entering the first entrance at Big Beach. Walk a bit on the sand, a few minutes and then you will see, on the right side, a cliff with red-black rock at the end of the beach. In order to reach Little Beach, you have to climb a part of the cliff. This is not really challenging. As soon as you pass this natural obstacle, you reached Little Beach Maui, the Mecca for nudists.
