Current Time in Maui

The current time in Maui is 2 hours earlier than Pacific Standard Time, and 3 hours earlier than Pacific Daylight Time.

Throughout the Hawaiian Islands the time is the same, and none of the Hawaiian Islands observe Daylight Saving Time.

The Maui time zone is in the Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time (HST).

If you plan make a phone call, don’t forget to calculate the time difference. If you are calling from US or Canadian East Coast, then the difference is bigger: 5-6 hours.

This is actually working quite well in my advantage when I am booking a flight to Maui, from Vancouver, Canada (West Coast). I usually choose an earlier flight, such as 9:00 AM, and land in Maui around 1:00 PM Maui time. This is great: I still have a half day to enjoy. When I am returning, I am getting a later flight, and still manage to be in Vancouver before midnight...

Farewell to Ali'i Kula Lavender founder, Ali'i Chang...

One of my favorite place to visit while on Maui... Ali'i was an amazing guy, always the best host and guide on his magical lavender farm. Heartbreaking experience to go there and see the farm closed, 'due to an emergency'..."KULA - Ali'i Arlington Chang, founder of Ali'i Kula Lavender, died in his sleep Wednesday, April 13, 2011
